Board of Directors

Six new members have been appointed to the Board of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA). These appointments took effect from 1 December 2011 and will be for a period of two years.

The IDA Board is chaired by Ms Yong Ying-I, Permanent Secretary (Health) and concurrently Permanent Secretary (National Research and Development). The members guide the work of IDA and help chart the growth of Singapore's infocomm industry.

Appointment of New Members for the IDA Board

IDA welcomes the following new members:

Mr Eddie Chau (Chairman SiTF/Founder/CEO, Brandtology Pte Ltd)
Mr Alexander Kleinberg (Head of Platform/Partnerships for Asia Pacific/Japan, Facebook)
Dr Bruno Lanvin (Executive Director of eLab, INSEAD)
Mr Lee Eng Beng (Managing Partner, Rajah & Tann LLP)
Mr Ng Cher Pong (DS(Policy), MOE)
Mr James Tong (President of Asia, Dextrys)

Six members have stepped down from the IDA Board after completing their terms in office. IDA wishes to thank the following members for their invaluable service and guidance during their term:

Mr Seah Chin Siong (CEO, IDA International Pte Ltd)
Mr Seah Moon Ming (Deputy Chief Executive Officer, ST Engineering Ltd)
Mr Kim Seah (Partner, A Ang, Seah & Hoe)
Mr Tan Suee Chieh (CEO, NTUC Income Insurance Co-operative Ltd)
Ms Tan Yen Yen (former Chairman SiTF/Senior Vice President, Applications, Asia Pacific, Oracle Corporation)
