• APEC-WTO Capacity Building Workshop on Telecommunications Trade Rules and Regulatory Disciplines, 22-26 March 2010
  
  The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) will be hosting an Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Workshop on Telecommunications Trade Rules and Regulatory Disciplines from 22 to 26 March 2010 in Singapore. This Workshop, facilitated primarily by Ms Lee Tuthill of the WTO Secretariat, is targeted at officials and policy makers in APEC economies, and seeks to provide participants with a deeper understanding of WTO rules and disciplines relating to trade in telecommunications services.

• Ministerial Forum on ICT: "Connecting Communities Through Information and Communications Technology for Economic and Social Development", 14-15 June 2010
  
  ICT is widely recognised as having the ability to enhance economic growth and national competitiveness, as well as being an avenue for fostering social and community development.
  
  The Ministerial Forum which will be held in conjunction to the Infocomm Media Business Exchange ("imbx") will bring together ICT Ministers and industry CEOs to discuss strategies and policies which can be implemented to encourage nation-wide ICT adoption.

• 4^th IDA Telecom Regulatory Course: "Enabling Frameworks for ICT Development - The Singapore Experience", 12-16 July 2010
  
  Together with industry partners, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) will be running the fourth Telecom Regulatory Course (TRC) in the area of information and communication technology (ICT) policy and regulation.
  
  This five-day executive training programme is designed for senior policy makers and regulators faced with the challenges of an increasingly complex and fast-paced information and telecommunications sector. Participants will be equipped with analytical and reference frameworks based on the experience of ICT policy and regulatory practitioners. Case studies and simulation exercises will stimulate discussions and experience sharing among participants.

• ASEAN Special TELSOM, 26-29 July 2010
  
  IDA will host the ASEAN Special TELSOM meeting on 26 to 29 July 2010. The meeting will see senior telecommunications officials from each of the 10 ASEAN Member countries discuss and implement regional policies and cooperation projects aimed at fostering stronger regional ties among the telecommunications community in ASEAN as well as enhancing ASEAN's integration in the ICT sector.
