IDA will convene the 6th Preparatory Working Group Meeting ("PWGM") on 6 October 2011 as a follow up to the 5th PWGM. This meeting will further deliberate on key WRC-12 spectrum issues and provide updates on the 5th APT Conference Preparatory Group Meeting. The meeting details can be found here.

As the telecommunication industry regulator, IDA controls the numbering resource and manages the National Numbering Plan. The Plan provides a set of rules and guidelines for allocating numbers to public telecommunication service operators. The Spectrum & Number Management ensure the adequacy of telecommunication numbers for use in Singapore.

Singapore Allocation Chart
The radio frequency spectrum is divided into frequency bands allocated to various radiocommunication services such as aeronautical, land mobile, meteorological and satellite communication services. View Chart.
Radio Spectrum Master Plan (Updated - Apr 2008)
The Radio Spectrum Master Plan serves to inform the industry and interested parties on the availability of spectrum in the coming years, technological trends in the use of spectrum and IDA's policy direction with regard to spectrum allocation and re-allocation for public communication networks.
Singapore Spectrum Management Handbook
The Singapore Spectrum Management Handbook serves to provide information on Spectrum Management activities, assignment policies and the application procedures for the various radio-communication services including mobile, fixed, satellite, short-range devices and broadcasting services.
Regulatory Framework for the 5GHz and 60GHz Bands
The Technical Specification for Short Range Devices serves to inform the industry and interested parties of the regulatory framework governing the use of devices in the 5470 to 5725 MHz and 57 to 66 GHz frequency bands. Under this framework, on-site localised usage of short range devices operating in these bands are exempted from licensing, subject to the power limits set by IDA.
White Space Technology Information Package
The 'White Space Technology information package' was developed to provide necessary information to any interested party that is keen to participate in the trial of whitespace technology in Singapore. The intent of the 'White Space Technology information package' is to facilitate the investigation and testing of white space devices and systems in Singapore, while ensuring continued protection of licensed services in Singapore from possible interferences that may occur during the trial period.
