(II) IDA's Direction to SingTel to incorporate specific drafting language
On 24 February 2006, IDA issued a Direction to SingTel to adopt in its Revised Proposed Modifications to its RIO to offer TLLCs at G.703 Interface Standards, specific drafting language ("Directed Amendments").  The revised RIO incorporating the Directed Amendments are hereby approved and shall take effect immediately.

On 26 January 2006, SingTel submitted its modifications to its RIO pursuant to IDA's Direction dated 30 December 2005.

13 January 2006

On 13 January 2006, SingTel submitted a request for IDA to reconsider certain aspects of IDA's Direction dated 30 December 2005 in respect of the modification to Proposed Amendments to SingTel's RIO to provision TLLCs at G.703 interface standards ("30 December 2005 Direction"). In addition, SingTel has requested for a stay to those aspects of the 30 December 2005 Direction which are subject to the reconsideration request while IDA considers SingTel's reconsideration request.  On 23 January 2006, IDA rejected SingTel's request for a stay to the 30 December 2005 Direction and required SingTel to submit its amended proposed RIO modifications by 26 January 2006.

IDA has received requests from the industry to extend the deadline for the submission of comments to the open 'Proposed Amendments to SingTel's Reference Interconnection Offer - Provision of Tail Local Leased Circuits at G.703 Interface Standards'.  IDA will grant an extension of 1 week from the original deadline.  All responses should reach IDA by 12 noon, 22 November 2005.

Public Consultation on Proposed Amendments to SingTel's Reference Interconnection Offer - Provision of Tail Local Leased Circuits at G.703 Interface Standards
On 19 October 2005, IDA directed Singapore Telecommunications Limited ("SingTel") to submit for IDA's approval, SingTel's proposed amendments to its Reference Interconnection Offer ("RIO") to offer to handover of n x 64 kbps Tail Local Leased Circuits at G.703 interface standards and with grooming services.  IDA's direction can be found here.

On 2 November 2005, SingTel submitted its proposed amendments to Schedule 7B and 9 of its RIO.  IDA hereby invites interested parties to submit comments regarding the proposed amendments.
