The 1800 MHz Spectrum Right (2011) Auction closed on 28 March 2011.
The Winning Bidder is M1 Limited. The winning bid amount was S$21.69m.
At the submission deadline of 5.00pm, 10 March 2011, IDA received Initial Offers with accompanying Bank Guarantees from the following operators:
- M1 Limited
- SingTel Mobile Singapore Pte Ltd
- StarHub Mobile Pte Ltd.
All three operators have been registered as Bidders and are entitled to participate in the 1800 MHz Spectrum Right (2011) Auction, which is scheduled to commence on 21 March 2011.
IDA has published the Auction Rules for the 1800 MHz Spectrum Right (2011) Auction. The Auction will be open to companies that have been granted a Facilities-Based Operator Licence (FBO Licence) to provide public cellular mobile telecommunication services by IDA. Interested bidders must submit a duly completed Initial Offer Document and a Bank Guarantee, delivered by hand, to IDA (attention to Ms Aileen Chia) by 5pm on 10 March 2011.
