Overseas Development Programme (ODP)

Overview

Many Infocomm Local Enterprises (iLEs) have matured over the years and developed successful Infocomm products and services. With further development and positioning, these offerings have the potential to be successful in overseas markets. However, the iLEs' ability to scale is constrained by the small local market, lack of overseas branding and business networks to put their products on the world stage.

To address these concerns, IDA introduced the Overseas Development Programme (ODP). The ODP is a partnership-driven programme that serves as a key platform for Singapore's iLEs to team up with leading Infocomm multi-national corporations (MNCs) or major local enterprises with established international presence, to tap into overseas markets beyond Singapore.

How You Can Benefit From ODP

• Leverage the technology capabilities and business connections of market leaders to penetrate new markets overseas.
  
• Enhance your overseas market position through joint sales calls and marketing activities with your lead partners to boost the confidence of potential overseas clients in your company's products and solutions.
   

If you are an MNC or major local enterprise with established international presence:

• Embed your technologies in Singapore Infocomm enterprises' innovative products and solutions for regional and/ or global reach.
