The CHTMP was conceived by IDA to develop integrated and responsive high-tech manufacturing supply chains in Singapore, linked by ICT and providing end-to-end services from product design to customer management. It aims to build dynamic end-to-end collaborative supply chains through the use of ICT as a strategic tool.
IDA is focusing on five process areas: design, procurement, production, logistics and payment. IDA encourages the adoption of
- RosettaNet standards for automating business processes,
- Web Services for flexible integration, and
- ICT applications such as Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) for collaborative design.
IDA is working with RosettaNet Architecture Centre of Excellence (RACE) - IDA is supporting RACE in the development of next-generation RosettaNet architecture for application in the manufacturing and logistics sectors.
