EdVantage Industry Briefing
During the briefing, MOEs IT Masterplan 3 (mp3) and IDAs Experimentation@Schools Programme (ESP) will be presented, which may translate into business opportunities for the industry to tap on in the education sector. IDA will be issuing a Call For Collaboration for Collaborative Learning Tools and Learning On The Move. The briefing will also inform potential participants on the requirements for the CFC and clarify any queries that potential CFC participants may have. It also provides an opportunity for industry partners to network and forge partnerships to participate in the CFC.

The EdVantage Industry Briefing will be held on 25th March 2010, 2pm to 5pm at Suntec Singapore Convention Centre, Room 201, Level 2.
 
Experimentation@Schools
Experimentation@Schools (ESP) focuses on pioneering innovative use of technology that supports Self Directed Learning (SDL) and Collaborative Learning(CoL). It aims to seed and encourage ICT innovations between schools and industry in the use of ICT for Learning and Teaching.
 
Contactless POS Deployment Initiative
The Contactless POS Deployment Initiative is part of the Next-Generation Electronic Payments Programme. The main objective of the initiative is to promote e-payment adoption in cash-based segments and to catalyze the deployment of NFC mobile payments in the future, by accelerating the deployment of CEPAS-compliant e-payment terminals. This initiative facilitates the adoption of e-payment by lowering the transaction costs to merchants by up to 50% compared to prevailing rates. In addition, merchants will enjoy waiver of setup fees and free terminal rental for at least a year.
 
NEU PC Plus Programme
The NEU PC Plus programme offers students from low-income households and disabled people new computers bundled with 3-years free broadband access and software at an affordable price of less than $300.
 
EdVantage Programme
EdVantage is a flagship programme by IDA with the support of the Ministry of Education (MOE). Aligned to Ministry of Education's IT Master Plan II (mp2), it aims to strategically deploy infocomm to provide a learner-centric, collaborative learning environment that extends beyond the classrooms.

Infocomm@SME is an IDA-led initiative that seeks to help SMEs see value in infocomm and embrace it. IDA will embark on three initiatives under Infocomm@SME, to put hassle-free, trusted and affordable infocomm services into the hands of SMEs.
