| 6 December 2007 - The IDA and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), have jointly launched a WISEPORT Content & Applications Call-For-Collaboration (CA CFC) on 6 December 2007. The agencies invite interested vendors and the maritime community to develop innovative content and applications for, and encourage the early adoption of, WISEPORT. WISEPORT is a mobile WiMAX network that will cover the port waters and surrounding coastal areas of Singapore. The CA CFC closes on 6 February 2008.

| The Silver Infocomm Initiative is a three-year programme that aims to bridge the digital divide among senior citizens through addressing their vast differences in educational background, language and infocomm competencies. Training in digital lifestyle skills will be offered to 30,000 senior citizens so that they can stay economically active and independent. |

| 4 February 2008 - The Ministry of Health, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore and The Enterprise Challenge under the Prime Minister’s Office launched a joint Healthcare Call-for-Collaboration (CFC) to seek infocomm (ICT) solutions to improve cost-efficiency and quality of healthcare delivery for the nation’s public and private healthcare institutions. This collaboration aims to exploit ICT maximally, as a key enabler in healthcare transformation and to promote innovation to change work processes and how care is delivered.
