IDA conducted a survey on consumers' awareness of and satisfaction with telecommunication services between December 2007 and March 2008. The survey aimed to measure consumers' usage and awareness of, and satisfaction with, selected telecommunication services in Singapore. Consumers were also asked for their opinions on the quality of telecom services they have used in terms of reliability and availability, variety of services available given the range of products and services currently offered in the market, price competitiveness of the various service offerings and customer service offered by the service operators. The telecommunication services surveyed include: (a) Fixed Line Telephone Service; (b) Mobile Telephone Service (including International Roaming, 3G and Premium Rate services); (c) Broadband Internet Service (including Voice over Internet Protocol service); (d) Bundled Services; (e) Payphone Service; (f) Service 100 Directory Enquiry Service; and (g) Printed Directories Service.
