IDA invites companies to submit proposals on the development and deployment of informational, transactional, m-commerce and location-based mobile services as well as common content and functionalities that are reusable by multiple mobile services.

This CFC aims to:

1. Facilitate the development and deployment of common reusable content and functionalities to catalyse the development of a wide variety of informational and transactional mobile services;
   
   
2. Encourage the development and deployment of informational, transactional, mobile commerce, location-based and innovative mobile services; and
   
   
3. Encourage more pervasive use of the mobile channel by businesses, starting with those in the Retail and F&B sectors.

Participants may submit proposals on the development and deployment of one or more of the following areas:

1. Shared Business Directory Service - A shared directory listing businesses in the Retail and F&B sectors in Singapore that can be made widely available to third-party mobile service providers;
   
   
2. Mobile Sites and Mobile Content Platform - Provision of mobile content platform, development and hosting of mobile websites for businesses in the Retail and F&B sectors;
   
   
3. Mobile Enablers with Transactional Mobile Services - Common Content and functionalities that are reusable by third-party transactional mobile services, including but not limited to Location Positioning, Mobile Remote Payment, Mobile Ticketing & Fulfillment and Mobile Taxi Booking; and
   
   
4. Innovative Mobile Services - Mobile services that creatively leverage the mobile channel to market, engage and deliver services that drive compelling usage by the consumers.
   

Participants can be one of the following:

1. Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Solution Providers intending to develop and offer common reusable content and functionalities to other businesses; or
   
   
2. ICT Solution Providers intending to develop and host mobile websites for other businesses; or
   
   
3. Businesses targeting at consumers and intending to deploy and offer transactional and/or innovative mobile services to their customers.

Extension of Submission Deadline

IDA will be extending the deadline for the submission of proposals for the Digital Concierge Call-for-Collaboration to 30 September 2009, 5.00pm.

Proposal Submission

One (1) hardcopy and one (1) softcopy (in a CD-ROM) of the Proposal should reach IDA no later than 30 September 2009, 5.00pm. All Proposals must be clearly marked as "Digital Concierge CFC", and addressed to:
