iSPRINT
(Increase SME Productivity with Infocomm Adoption & Transformation)

The iSPRINT scheme addresses the different areas of infocomm adoption for the SMEs, making it easy and convenient for these enterprises to seek assistance to help them along their infocomm adoption journey.

It supports the packaged solutions pre-qualified by IDA and customised solutions, as long as the project involves the use of infocomm technology to improve the company's business operations, resulting in efficiency/ productivity, increased revenue or value-add for the business.

If you already have plans to implement infocomm solutions to improve your business operations, you can contact IDA to seek advice on the assistance that is suitable for your infocomm project or alternatively, you can complete and email the following documents to IDA at (ida_ino@ida.gov.sg) for a preliminary consultation:

  • Request Form
  • Business Proposal
  • Latest ACRA business profile of your company
  • Audited financial statements of your company for the last 2 years

What does the subsidy cover?

Types of Project Support Level Qualifying Costs
Packaged solutions1, pre-qualified by IDA, for basic business functions:

For Software-as-a-Service type of solutions, support will be 50% of up to 12 months subscription for maximum of 2 user licences or S$1,500, whichever is lower

1 Only available in April/May 2010 - IDA will be calling for proposals for packaged solutions for Finance/Accounting, Human Resources/ Payroll and Software-as-a-Service. The shortlisted packaged solutions will be made available in April/May 2010.

2 Accounting software must comply with IRAS' e-Tax Guide and is listed in the IRAS Accounting Software Register

3 Refers to websites with online payment capabilities that allow customers to purchase products or services over the Internet.

How Do I Qualify?

Your business must meet the following criteria to qualify for the assistance:

  1. All small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that are registered or incorporated in Singapore
  2. Your business qualifies as a SME if:
    1. At least 30% of your shareholding is local
    2. your group fixed assets are less than S$15 million*
    3. you have less than 200 employees (for enterprises in the non-manufacturing sector)*
  3. For customised solutions, the development must be carried out in Singapore and the project must not have started before the before the grant is approved.

*Computed on a group basis i.e. checking up to three levels for corporate shareholders holding 20% or more of the total shareholding in your company and one level down where your company owns 50% or more of shareholding in a subsidiary company.
