Senior citizens can enrol for IT training at $10 per session; attend free seminars to get IT tips & tricks and check out the exhibition for the latest IT gadgets and services. New Interactive IPTV services are set to ride on the pervasiveness of the new ultra-high speed Next Gen Nationwide Broadband Network (Next Gen NBN). IDA and MDA intend to jointly launch a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the design, building, financing and operation of an open access video delivery platform. Interested parties can now download the Pre-Qualification document at the GeBiz or IDA NIMS website.
PC Bundles At Special Prices & Training Incentive For Senior Citizens

To help senior citizens embrace infocomm in their daily lives, IDA launched the Silver Gen PC Specials and Silver PC Incentive Programme to encourage IT training and spur PC ownership among senior citizens. In Silver Gen PC Specials, IDA-appointed vendors will offer PC bundles at special prices exclusively to senior citizens.
27 New National Infocomm Scholars to Pursue Infocomm Careers

A total of 27 students from the junior colleges, polytechnics and international schools received the National Infocomm Scholarship awards today from Mr Lui Tuck Yew, Acting Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts.

Located at the Esplanade Xchange, the Centre showcases interactive and engaging services with hands-on experience for visitors.

You must have a keen understanding of the impact of these new technologies and the drive to engage key stakeholders on the progress. Ideally, you should have a degree in an infocomm-related discipline with a minimum of eight years experience to be successful in the role.
