World's First 3D Virtual World Based on an Olympic Event Opens Its Doors

Mr Lui Tuck Yew, Acting Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts, launched the Singapore 2010 Odyssey today at the Singapore 2010 Odyssey Roadshow. This is the first three-dimensional virtual world developed based on an Olympic event.

The biennial National Infocomm Awards (NIA) is back for its fifth run this year to reward excellence in infocomm innovations in Singapore. Jointly organised by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore and Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation NIA is the highest accolade for the infocomm industry in Singapore.
Framework for Assignment of Frequencies on Non-Interference and Unprotected Basis

Consultation on Proposed Regulatory Framework for 60 GHz Frequency Band

IDA is considering making available the 60 GHz band for use in Singapore and would like to seek the views and comments from the industry and members of the public on frequency allocations, technical conditions and the regulatory approach. Submissions close on 12 noon, 31 March 2010.
