Information Security Seminar 2010

The Singapore Government is committed to strengthening and developing our information security measures and capabilities. To share insights and best practices in information security, this year’s seminar will have an interesting line up of thought leaders and practitioners speaking on:

  • opportunities for collaboration between the public and private sectors to strengthen the security of Singapore’s information infrastructure; and
  • the development of new capabilities to prepare Singapore against new and emerging information security threats

National Infocomm Competition 2010

The National Infocomm Competition (NIC) is a year-long infocomm competition held annually that allows students to hone their skills and showcase their talent in infocomm. This competition, comprising a series of infocomm-themed challenges, is open to students from all Secondary Schools, Junior Colleges, Polytechnics and Institute of Technical Education.

This year’s NIC 2010 Launch and Awards Ceremony at the Red Dot Museum on 01 April 2010 will kick off the series of challenges for the year. For more information on the National Infocomm Competition, please go to infocommtalent.sg/nic.

iGov Global Forum

iGov Global Forum

The international e-Government event of the year returns with a new interactive and engaging workshop component. Themed “e-Government: The Next Quantum Leap”, the iGov Global Forum will bring together international e-Government experts and practitioners, including Government CIOs, business leaders, and senior public sector officials. It will facilitate mutual learning and sharing, providing participants with valuable insights on how governments can tackle e-Government issues and opportunities, and encourage collaboration among an international audience. The event includes Site Visits to view Singapore’s e-Government initiatives, a unique feature among e-Government events.
